Camp
Roberts Art and
Freedom Fountain
Plans are in
the works to create a landscaped area with a flagpole to finish
the Freedom Fountain area as a tribute to fallen soldiers. Originally
constructed by Italian prisoners-of-war who were held at Camp Roberts
during World War II, it is one of two fountains known to still exist
on the post. Donations are sought for landscape gravel and plants
to complete the Freedom Fountain project. To
make a donation please contact Lisa Norris at Camp Roberts at 805-238-8308.
