The resolutions, adopted during the board's regular meeting held on Thursday, Jan. 28, honored San Miguel Fire Apparatus Engineer Kenneth Smith as firefighter of the year for 2009 and volunteer firefighter Gilbert Celedon for meritorious action while off duty at a traffic collision encountered while he was going to work.

Cozied up in San Miguel is the North County’s best kept secret... a quaint coffee/ burger/ sandwich station. Burgers and tri-tip meats are cooked over flaming oak logs producing flavor unequaled elsewhere. Our customers tell us our linguica sandwiches are tops. Homemade pasta and potato salads offer a relief from greasy fried sides.
We offer a wide range of coffees including espressos, breakfast sweets, and a very popular egg burrito.
P.S. Please don’t tell your Paso friends about us, our production is limited and we prefer to remain local. Open 7am to 7 pm every day except Sunday. 1199 Mission St.
